This particular black sheep will deliver one of his own from either his heart or sleeve; if not he'll lace one out from one of his heroes. That's just the way it goes. Whilst his base camp is in Albuquerque the roots of country music; REAL country music, are deep in the ground on a little ranch in northern New Mexico, hard to find on a map. We like it that way. You will too.
Just under 800 shows, and just under 100 thousand miles this is only the start. There's been good times, and bad in the rear view mirror of an old Chevy pick up truck. We've slept inside that truck a number of nights and I assure you that it was better than a number of places we've slept while we was on the road. It's just part of the journey. I will finish what I started even though it may kill me. You have to understand that leaving my wife, kids and friends behind for even a short moment is as hard as it is to write, practice, learn new songs and deliver them. I'm both terrified and excited because this is all I've ever wanted. So I guess there's no looking back now other than for the sake of learning. I'm blessed to have a "corner" especially my wife. She's an angel and couldn't do any of this without her.
